Amy; Thank-you so very much for setting this site up. I really like it. It's so easy to use. "Imbolc Lore" was comforting to read. When I was at the ocean two weekends ago, Ernie, and I had breakfast at a little restaurant on the beach. The owners, a husband, and wife, not only made all the food, but also had a knitting shop in the back. The shop was filled with beautiful yarns from all over the world. There were silk, and wool, mixed with exotic materials, like ground seashells, hemp, and herbs. They both were talented artists, and their gorgeous handmade purses, scarves, and hats filled the store. While the wife had to go cook, the husband started to talk about his passion for knitting. He was so enthused, he offered to show me right then, and there how to knit. Since I was in no big hurry to go anywhere, I agreed to let him. What a wonderful, relaxing afternoon, with a kind stranger who took the time to teach me how to knit. All my senses felt so alive learning something new; using the vivid colored yarn I'd first admired, with smooth bamboo needles, and this, all while smelling the wife's homemade cinnamon rolls baking, and listening to the sound of waves lapping up on the beach. Sometimes you just have to be totally spontaneous, and embrace the moment, because who knows when the opportunity may come your way again. I know this one won't.
